Common questions
Can I use the Malachite for fishing?
Yes — an angler option is available with rod-holder interfaces. The huge capacity and sealed hatches make it excellent for fishing.
Do I need a rudder?
Most paddlers won't. The Malachite tracks beautifully and steers with edge control. Rudder is recommended mainly for significant swells or strong winds.
How much can it carry?
353 lbs — enough for a large paddler plus multiday expedition gear.
